The first time you visit Friendly Family Dentistry, we will take great care to thoroughly examine your teeth and establish an oral health baseline. Here’s what you can expect:
- We will review your paperwork and collect additional information about your medical and dental history
- We will listen to your concerns, taking note of any pain or other symptoms you may be experiencing
- We will then examine your teeth, which includes an oral cancer screening, a periodontal (gum) evaluation, a bite analysis, and finally a thorough examination of your teeth and their supporting structures
- If necessary, we will take digital x-rays after we’ve evaluated your overall oral health
